Soup Supper, Stations and Adoration

Each Friday during Lent, St. Cecilia has a soup supper, Stations of the Cross and Perpetual Adoration.  Last Friday our council ran the soup supper and assisted with stations and adoration.  Thanks to some great leadership and a good volunteer turn out, things ran very smoothly.  Around ninety guests attended the supper.  I had the clam chowder--which was great!  There was also a vegetable ravioli and...  another type I think...  and some really tasty bread.  Anyway, it was all pretty good ... so I'm not sure if it really counted as fasting ;)  Afterward, stations and adoration were also great.  Meditating on Christ's passion is always time well spent and worshiping Him in the Eucharist always seems to move me more than I expect it will beforehand.  In summary, the evening was a great experience!
